Coach Laurent played semi-pro in France before a breakaway collision ended his playing career. He built a different life — became a general manager in the French Caribbean — and then, in 2019, arrived in the US and founded MVP Goalkeeper Training.
He joined Monmouth University as goalkeeper coach in 2022. Coached Dymora — now a professional goalkeeper — to Best Goalkeeper honors and First Team distinction in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, began specialist work with Gotham FC's starting goalkeeper, supporting her return to play from injury.
From travel youth to D1 college, we've placed more than 20 goalkeepers into college programs in the last four years — All Americans, ODP, ECNL, EDP, MLS Next. Every keeper gets a tailored plan: technical, tactical, mental, and the path that fits their level.

I've been training with MVP since 2021 and now play for Rowan University. Laurent cared about who I was, how the session went, and how much I got out of it. The trainings are paced very well, they're fun, and they're seemingly always changing. If I could have started training with them when I was younger I definitely would have.
MVP is different from the rest. Some teach you skills, some teach you discipline, some teach you the mindset. Only a few help you with everything. MVP has trained my daughter Sofia in all aspects of GK and life. She went to her first big ID Camp at only 16 — D1 and D2 schools could talk to her — and she dominated.
Coach Laurent is absolutely amazing! He's been training my son for a few years now and has taken him from being good to great. Laurent is the best choice when it comes to goalie development. He is a true leader and mentor both on and off the field.
